CleanChx Pass or Fail Test Solution™ is a revolutionary proprietary ready-to-use solution designed to make non-visible soluble salts (chlorides, sulfides, nitrates, and phosphates) visible to the naked eye through a color change reaction. It allows you to test more surface area faster with a visible result right on the spot.
Our test solution sprays on a goldish color, and if non-visible contaminants exist on metal surfaces, it will react by turning the solution a visible blueish green/blue color when it comes in contact with soluble salts. Most of the time the color change is immediate, while sometimes it could take 1-2 minutes for the color change to occur. The Proof is in the Color™
The visible color change gives the user the ability to visually identify where soluble salts are congregated on a large project, and allows the user to localize where salts are located in a quick and precise manner to assure they are removed from the substrate. It is a qualitative test, and will indicate when it encounters soluble salts, but, does not give specific numeric concentrations or values of the contamination.
The darker the shade of blueish green/blue indicates more reaction taking place and this can be further visually verified by blotting area with a clean paper towel or blotter paper. This gives a rapid “pass or fail” result before coatings are applied. If a numeric value is desired, CleanChx Pass or Fail Test Solution™ will quickly indicate where test(s) need to be performed - saving you time and money.
